The Coordinator is in charge of elaborating the Cooperative Scientific Plan of their Research Area in accordance with the research lines of the Institute.<\/p>\n<p>Nowadays, the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Area&#8217;s Coordinators<\/span> are:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff9900\">&#8220;Cancer&#8221;<\/span> &#8211; <em>Dr. Jos\u00e9 Luis Rodr\u00edguez Peralto<\/em><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff9900\">&#8220;Chronic Diseases and Transplantation&#8221;<\/span> &#8211; <em>Dr. Manuel Praga Terente<\/em><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff9900\">&#8220;Rare and Genetically Based Diseases&#8221;<\/span> &#8211; <em>Dr. Miguel \u00c1ngel Mart\u00edn Casanueva<\/em><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff9900\">&#8220;Epidemiology and evaluation of Technologies, Sanitary Services and Information Systems&#8221;<\/span> &#8211; <em>Dr. Agust\u00edn G\u00f3mez de la C\u00e1mara<\/em><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff9900\">&#8220;Cardiovascular&#8221;<\/span> &#8211; <em>Dr. H\u00e9ctor Bueno Zamora<\/em><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff9900\">&#8220;Inflammatory Diseases and Immune Disorders&#8221;<\/span> &#8211; <em>Dr. Jos\u00e9 Luis Pablos \u00c1lvarez<\/em><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff9900\">&#8220;Infectious diseases and AIDS&#8221;<\/span> &#8211; <em>Dr. Rafael Delgado V\u00e1zquez<\/em><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff9900\">&#8220;Neurosciences and Mental Health&#8221;<\/span> &#8211; <em>Dra. <\/em><em>Eva Carro D\u00edaz<\/em><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff9900\">&#8220;Transversal Area&#8221;<\/span> &#8211; <em>Dr. Javier Fern\u00e1ndez Mart\u00ednez<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<div class=\"panel-group style-2 collapsed\" id=\"accordion1\"><div class=\"panel\">\n                <div class=\"panel-heading\">\n                    <h4 class=\"panel-title\">\n                        <a data-toggle=\"collapse\"  class='collapsed' href=\"#collapse1\">Functions of the Area Coordinators<\/a>\n                    <\/h4>\n                <\/div>\n                <div id=\"collapse1\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\">\n                    <div class=\"panel-body\">\n<ul>\n<li>To make the decisions made by the Institute&#8217;s Management reach the components of their area and to ensure compliance with the agreed research commitments.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with research commitments concluded by their area, as well as promote the transfer of research results to clinical practice and to the industrial and commercial field.<\/li>\n<li>Promote initiatives and collaborative exchanges with other groups, institutes and research organisations.<\/li>\n<li>Meet semi-annually with the Directorate of the Institute to define the scientific policy of the Research Area.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the five-year development of the Cooperative Scientific Project of their research area and, once it has been prepared, send it to Scientific Management.<\/li>\n<li>Whatever else that may entrusted to them by the Governing Board or the Scientific Management in compliance with the objectives of the i+12 Institute.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n                <\/div>\n            <\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image source=&#8221;external_link&#8221; custom_src=&#8221;http:\/\/imas12.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/presentacion2B.jpg&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Presentation The i+12 Institute has developed and produced a methodology for prioritising research, the application of which enables it to define and organise the lines of work of its professionals in 9 large Scientific Areas.
