The HRS4R is based in the principles stablished through the <em><strong>European Charter for Researchers<\/strong><\/em>, the <em><strong>Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers<\/strong><\/em> and the <em>Open, Transparent and Merit-based Recruitment policy<\/em> recommended by the European Commission.<\/p>\n<p>Entities adhering to this strategy receive the recognition of HR Excellence in Research. Fundaci\u00f3n para la Investigaci\u00f3n Biom\u00e9dica del Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre welcomes the initiative of the European Commission and the recommendations in the frame of the strategy.<\/p>\n<p>The process to obtain the recognition is a value tool for carrying a self-assessment of the current departments and services of the institution in human resources area, to improve the working conditions for research, making the institution an attractive place to develop a research of excellence.
