It is the core of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">innovation in the digitisation of healthcare and healthcare research.<\/span> It is a pioneering group, at international level, in the field of data science and the implementation of healthcare technology, demonstrated through multiple actions of progress in R&amp;D&amp;I. It is also a multidisciplinary group made up of engineers, healthcare professionals, biostatisticians, bioinformaticians, epidemiologists, economists and project managers working together in a single structure with team objectives, management and activities.<\/p>\n<p>Our <strong>goal<\/strong> is to produce and transfer the innovations in Digital Health that the National Health System needs for the quality of health and population care, as well as research and other additional purposes.<\/p>\n<p>The group is <strong>coordinated by Dr. Pablo Serrano Balazote<\/strong>, and the research activity is developed in <strong>different lines and procedures<\/strong> to deepen innovation in Digital Health:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Health Information Modelling and Standards<\/strong>. Heads: Pablo Serrano and Jaime Cruz.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Data Science<\/strong>. Leaders: Miguel Pedrera and Noelia Garc\u00eda.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Application of ICT to the health field (Health IT).<\/strong> Coordinators: Juan Luis Cruz and Gustavo Roig.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Telemedicine and Personal Health Systems<\/strong>. Coordinators: Antonio Garc\u00eda and Ana Isabel Terriza.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Epidemiology and generation of evidence based on real-world data<\/strong>. Coordinators: V\u00edctor Quir\u00f3s Gonz\u00e1lez and Jos\u00e9 Luis Bernal.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Scientific Methodology and Biostatistics<\/strong>.
